A friend, Emma and I attended the launch of Creative Cardiff last night in the Wales Millennium Centre. Sing & Inspire broke in to song followed by talks from organisers of Creative Cardiff and Cardiff Design Festival. From what I understand Creative Cardiff is a platform for creating a critical mass of events around creativity in Cardiff So, promoting Cardiff to the rest of the UK as artistic, musical, theatrical, poetic, designed...

We had an interesting chat about 'sea glass' to a company called Gwydr (which is Welsh for Glass). They make jewellery from glass that has been washed by the sea. I love that we can reclaim something beautiful from all the flotsam and jetsam that comes in on the tide....
